She completed her MBBS from Guwahati Medical College and received her Masters in Surgery – Otorhinolaryngology from Assam Medical College . She is trained in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and later went to Singapore General Hospital for advanced training in the subject. She received a grant from Cochlear Australia for her Fellowship in Cochlear Implant Surgery for hearing restoration. She has attained vast clinical and surgical experience by being at the country’s best institutes like AIIMS, Medanta the Medicity, P. D Hinduja National Hospital and Breach Candy Hospital.
